Imported Washington resident and amateur photographer. I am originally from the mid-west, I love to travel, and I enthusiastically pursue new hobbies and interests with the attention span of a small rodent. It's been a long time since I've picked up my camera and gotten outside, but I'm making an effort in 2021 to return to the things that have brought me joy. So I've got my Nikon camera and a lot to learn about shooting with it, but it's all part of the journey.

A Trying Time

Hello all out there in DA land.
Many of you may have noticed I have been quite absent here on DA. This year has been quite the trial for me so far and I'm hoping it will begin to pick up from here.
Beginning in January/February my old dog started having some problems, which resulted in multiple vet visits, stressful nights and days, and ultimately a diagnosis - cancer. We went through months of chemo treatments, more stressful days and nights, good days and bad, and trying to wrap my head around the fact that this was happening.
